a new illustration for Super Lesbian Animal RPG, featuring the party heading out for an adventure on the Sapphire Islands! thank you so much to everyone who’s checked out the demo and helped it hit 10,000 downloads! we’re still plugging away and pouring a lot of love into the full game to make sure it lives up to the hype
another 8-bit platformer mockup based on Super Lesbian Animal RPG (again, just for fun), because of course I had to do one with Claire and Jodie to complete the party. this time it’s a cave level (featuring an single Dust Bunny)
the previous level mockup with Melody and Allison is here, and here’s the whole gang all together
one fun detail a lot of players may have missed in the Super Lesbian Animal RPG demo is the status screen! each one has a little character profile inspired by Mel’s “dating profile” from the demo’s intro
i wanted to have some unique art here for each character rather than enlarged sprites, but those got cut from the demo for time and will have to wait for the full game
I accidentally saved over the higher resolution version of this drawing of Claire and Jodie from the intro of the Super Lesbian Animal RPG demo but here it is in all its slightly pixelated glory
I wanted to draw a new group shot of the Super Lesbian Animal RPG party to replace the rapidly aging 2015 promo art and whoops!! It ended up taking the better part of a week, because I made it the most intricate piece of digital art I’ve ever drawn. But it’s really nice to have a new piece of art to represent the game with the whole party together in an actual environment
i was just anonymously submitted these moodboards for melody, allison, claire, jodie, and faith from slarpg on my curiouscat and these are so spot on…
also i appreciate that some of these are referencing random factoids about the characters that i’ve listed in response to asks, like the fact that i once said allison prefers pepsi over coke or the fact that claire’s currently not revealed love interest is a pig. deep cuts
