Your game inspires me not only as a game developer to get out there and create, but also as a trans woman who is a creator. will there be bug people, fish people, lizard people and such in SLARPG, or is it mammals-only?
SLARPG’s beast folk can be birds and reptiles, yes. Bugs and fish aren’t out of the question but I can’t say if you’ll see any in the game
Are there going to be any animals that are non binary? I don't like the idea of a plant being the only character who is not a boy or girl because we're often given the "odd" characters like aliens or inanimate objects and it feels very dehumanizing even if the characters of this game aren't exactly human
yes, there are some nonbinary animals in there too! Noel is just the first nb character I chose the show off because they’re relatively important as far as NPCs go, and also I wanted to show that there would be other species of character in the game beyond beast folk
the last thing I’d wanna do is imply that only characters from other species or artificially created characters are allowed to exist outside the gender binary
So swearing in the game will be allowed?

I’m not sure if I’ve asked this before but will there be options for other languages?
There are currently no plans for the game to be in any languages beyond English at launch–the script is kind of huge, and I’ll undoubtedly be tweaking bits of dialogue here and there right up until the game’s release. I would also need to be absolutely certain that any translations were on par with my original script because the dialogue is everything in this game, and that’s not exactly easy
Post-launch? I have no idea. Things could change if there was particularly high demand or if I was approached by a good translator, but at the moment there are no translations planned
Hmm... In the name, what exactly is the word "super" modifying? Is it a super RPG? An RPG about super animals? Or are they just super lesbians? Come to think of it, are they lesbian animals or is it a lesbian RPG And is the answer "all of the above"?
okay so the game’s logo is inspired by the logo for super street fighter ii turbo. see
so i’d say based on the logo, the “super” is modifying the lesbian animal rpg. whether or not “lesbian” is modifying “animal” or “rpg” is another story i guess but i would probably say it’s modifying animal
HOWEVER, the title started as a joke placeholder title waaay back when and i think it was a play on super mario rpg. in that title “super” is specifically modifying “mario,” not “mario rpg.” so you could make a case for the “super” in “super lesbian animal rpg” referring to the lesbian animals, i suppose, if you really wanted to

Would Melody and Allison ever consider doing something like the Game Grumps where they play video games together and talk, only with less swearing/dick jokes and more gay romantic cuteness?
it’s not a stretch at all to imagine them playing video games together while hanging out. i don’t picture either of them as being Hardcore Gamers just because like, they live in a fantasy world and there are more interesting things for me to make them do, but both of them probably have at least a few games they enjoy playing and i’m sure they’d want to share that hobby with each other
i don’t think either of them would want to be let’s players if that’s what you mean though, haha
How would you characterize Alison's voice? When she has more lines I want to try a fan recording!
Allison sounds like either Amethyst from SU or Rainbow Dash. She’s a little more chill and less eager to look cool than Rainbow Dash usually is though. I’d definitely be open to other interpretations, but she always sounds like that in my head when I’m writing her
I’m excited about the prospect of fan dubs, by the way!
Does Holly have a gruff voice or a smooth one?
Discussing it with Anthony, her voice is a little raspy. Trying to think of characters to compare her voice to, he went with “Rainbow Dash, but a bit less excitable and somewhat deeper,” if that helps. Maybe like Jasper from Steven Universe, just… friendly
He also established that Provence probably sounds like Princess Bubblegum, just with a more stern and serious way of speaking most of the time. And Rhett probably sounds a bit like Gilda from MLP. He also compared Rhett’s mannerisms to Bulk Biceps, Macho Man Randy Savage, and Ruby when she was angry in the pool in Keystone Motel
So I'm currently living with my sister and she has 2 bunny pets and one acts like the stereotypical bunny being shy and quiet. The other however acts hyper and likes to run in circles around people they like. Does Alison do something like that?
